Puppets and stories working together

Spellbound Science stories are designed to create problems that children can solve. The main characters in each story are based around puppets. At the end of each story the puppet(s) can really bring the story to life and carry on talking with the children. These stories are presented in a storybook and animated CD and are for children in the age ranges approximately 7-9 (Book and CD1) and 9-11 (Book and CD2).

Discovery Dog stories (produced by Lancashire County Council) are of a similar style but for younger children, age range approximately 5-7. The stories were created by Kate Blacklock, Jan Childe, Debbie Eccles and Peter Atkinson. The Discovery Dog and Naughty Nora puppets were designed to accompany the stories.
